Calling all Gen Z voters. The Feminist Majority Foundation launched an Equality Votes social media initiative designed to inspire college-age students all over the United States to vote — and vote together. From Penn State to the University of Michigan, campus organizations that established an Equality Votes social media footprint were supported with a cohesive communication strategy and a branded look and feel by The Feminist Majority Foundation. Collaborating with artists and designers from all time zones, issue-focused and candidate-specific briefs were used to create work that would speak directly to Gen Z on topics ranging from provisional ballot requests, registration status, to voter intimidation. Posts, GIFs, tweets, etc. were designed and built to help create turn-key social campaigns for each channel. Hundreds of posts, likes, and shares helped mobilize tens of thousands of young voters to turn it up and turn it out.
